Bible: We started out the day by going over his Bile verse from yesterday, and recited the books of the Bible.
Language Arts: Today we synthesized some of what we know about cats into an essay.  Thus, we covered reading comprehension, sentence structure & writing.  He read his report aloud afterward.
Mathematics:  we covered place value.

Today marked the first day of second grade! We did our weekly Bible verse, went to Spanish class & went to pick up his clarinet for band.
