Ripped from the headlines of our homeschooling days!

3.10.08

I’m going to try posting a little something each day (okay, at least weekly) about things we’ve done.  We actually do a lot and have so many outside classes that keeping up a blog to chronicle everything is hard. But I want to capture the flavor of all the fun things we do, so I’ll go for quick bursts, rather than long involved details (which I prefer).

Today, Nikko read three full chapters of the Bible (New Century Version); wrote an e-mail to a new friend, and helped his cousin Adam with an air quality assignment. Rene copied her Bible verse several times, and went over her Dolch sight words. Jay traced his name over and over. We made fresh squeezed orange juice for lunch, and still had so many oranges left over that we made fresh fruit popsicles for later.
