Playing Catch-up

Has it really been seven months since we’ve written anything? Well, I suppose we’ve been somewhat busy! In that time we:

• Adopted a sibling group of two children
• Took two trips across five states and back each time
• Have gone on field trips like:
  • A professional baseball game
  • The Monterey Bay Aquarium
• Still homeschooling, but with more involved stuff like:
  • 4 hours of Lego Robotics per week in preparation to compete in our first FLL (our first year since outgrowing JFLL)
  • Our first effort at NaNoWriMo (more on that in the next post)
  • BookIt! Reading Program (1 book per child per week)
  • Spanish
  • Chorus
  • Homeschool PE
