Open Mic

I work part-time & the cafe across the street from the shop I manage has a lot of live entertainment.  Last week, on my break, I saw a flyer advertising a new event: Clean Comedy for Kids and Families.  Part of the event is an open mic for aspiring comedians.  Well, my little ham has been creating his own jokes for awhile now, so we thought he’d enjoy the opportunity to preform, and he did!

The host of the event is a local professional comedian who offered the kids lots of tips on performing and critiqued each one.

After he performed, my son got lots of positive feedback from everyone….kids and adults alike.  They asked if they could put him in the newsletter they have and invited him to come back next month as it will now be a monthly event.
