On Monday, it was our son’s first day of band.  He is the youngest in the homeschool band, but so far he is holding his own.  He is playing the clarinet.  They covered making sounds and the first very basic fingering positions. Wednesday: Voice was fantastic!  He was so patient with our son!  He learned about vocal music vs. instrumental. He learned the names for the 4 vocal parts.  He got to see a few instruments in action & even got to play the piano.

Bible: We started out the day by going over his Bile verse from yesterday, and recited the books of the Bible.
Language Arts: Today we synthesized some of what we know about cats into an essay.  Thus, we covered reading comprehension, sentence structure & writing.  He read his report aloud afterward.
Mathematics:  we covered place value.
